The 1Jump Non-Profit Directory is organized just like the folders on your Windows computer are: In a branching tree structure. You can navigate among them with simple mouse-clicks.
Category folders with a [-] symbol to their left have been fully expanded.
Category folders with no symbol to their left are simply folders that cannot be expanded further.
The entire 1Jump Non-Profit Directory can be searched by any combination of the following: City, State, ZIP, Organization Name, Organization type, Asset range, or Income range.
This search flexibility is equally useful when you only want information on organizations in limited geographic areas -- or nationwide.
Note: This searches the 1Jump Non-Profit Directory only, and not the entire 1Jump database.
Step 2. Enter criteria in one or more of the search fields. Note: State codes must be 2 characters; ZIP codes must be 5 digits.
Step 3. Click on the "Apply" button to perform a directory-wide search. The results will appear in the table view.
Simply DOUBLE-CLICK on any folder or category name in the category tree, and a list of organizations will load in the table view.
Remember that results are displayed one page at a time. To move among pages, use the page back and forth buttons.

You can export, copy to the clipboard, and print records in the 1Jump Non-Profit Directory, provided you do not exceed reasonable limits. Each function is done within the drop-down "Data" menu on the toolbar:

Finding Organizations in the 1Jump Non-Profit Directory
Option 1: Searching by Category
Step 1. There are two category files in the Directory! Start by choosing which one you want to search. The "Taxonomy" category file classifies organizations by their main purpose. The "Activity" category file classifies organizations by their primary functional activity.

Step 1. Find the directory records you want to export
Step 2. Click the drop-down Data menu, and select "Export"
Step 3. Select the directory on your hard drive where you want to save the exported file
Step 4. Create a unique name for the file
Step 5. Click on the "Save" button
Step 6. The resulting file is TAB-delimited, and can be opened in any contact management, spreadsheet, or database program.

Step 1. Find the directory records you want to export
